First storyline attempt (scrapped)

This is my first try of figuring out the storyline for my short. After discussing with my tutors, I realised that not only does this storyline require more time and resources than I have, but also that it isn't the type of story I want to tell.

Storyline -

- Short starts with the Werewolf waking up in a forest clearing.

- She rubs her face, noticing her hands. She then tries to remember what happened to her last night, getting brief flashbacks of being chased and falling into a magic lake under a full moon.

- She gets up and looks around, noticing a path in the forest, which she starts stumbling down

-Cut to the witch, who is enjoying some tea outside her house. She looks up and sees the stumbling Werewolf in daylight, and immediately goes over to help them and get them inside where they can't be seen.

-The werewolf initially acts tough towards the witch, attempting to say she doesn't need help.

-Witch makes it clear that the Werewolf needs to stay hidden, and the best way to do that is to go inside.

-Werewolf tries to put up a fight, but eventually relents when the witch pulls out her wand.

-They head inside, where Werewolf bumps her head on the door/knocks something over.

-Witch catches stuff before they fall on the ground, then she instructs the Werewolf to sit down somewhere.

- Witch asks why the Werewolf hasn't transformed back yet, Werewolf tries to explain that she doesn't know how to.

-Witch says she can brew a potion to help her transform back, saying it's common for Werewolves to have trouble turning back after their first night.

-Witch fires up cauldron and sets up recipe book

-As Witch is setting up, Werewolf asks how she knows so much about Werewolves, to which the Witch replies that she studies curses, especially the ones that originate from the surrounding forest.

-Witch starts brewing potion, including shot of ingredients being added, potion changing colour, etc.

-Witch explains how potion works (acts as a catalyst for Werewolves abilities, in this case transforming, helping to give the Werewolf the final push to transform back)

-Werewolf starts questioning why the Witch would help her, and how does she know the Witch isn't trying to trick her?

-Witch sighs, says she's trying to be a good person and help out a fellow supernatural creature, and also to make sure no one sees her transformed and start looking into the area.

-Witch serves up the potion.

-Werewolf smells the potion and gags, hesitating to drink it

-Witch says she doesn't have to drink it, but then the Werewolf will have to stay with her until she figures out how to transform back

(at this point I knew I wouldn't be using this storyline, so I didn't write it beyond this point)
