Major: Witch Memorial

 The next part of the kitchen I modelled was the witch memorial. It was a fairly simple process, as alot of it was created using techniques I'd used elsewhere in the kitchen. At first I was going to use wand models I'd found online, but after a while of searching all I could find were bad models or ones that were incredibly high poly, so I realised it would be easier to just model them myself. I did this by taking a cylinder and manipulating and extruding it to get the shape I wanted.

Witch Modelling: Hands and lower arms

 The hands and the arms were next. These took a lot longer than I was expecting, and were a lot harder than I was expecting too. at first I tried to quad draw over the base mesh hands, but that was turning out very messy so I went back to Jet Pack Jones again and followed the hand tutorial. They look OK, but I'm not fullt satisfied with how they came out. For the lower arm, I extruded up from the hand the added extra edge loops to create the shape.

Major: Animating - Camera, Cauldron and Fire

The last thing to do before rendering was animating. The first thing I animated was the fire, which I used an nfluid to create, advised by one of my tutors and this tutorial - https://cgi.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-create-an-awesome-fire-effect-using-maya-fluids--cg-943. It was fairly simple to create with the info that I had, but I think at points its a bit too intense as it's supposed to be a gentle flame. I tried to modify the parameters so it's not as intense, but I wasn't able to get it to the point I like without breaking it further.  For the cauldron, it was as simple as rotating it every 40 frames and keyframing it, which makes it appear to be gently swaying over the fire. for the liquid in the cauldron, I animated that rotating to have it appear to be moving. Werewolf Head modelling part 2

After doing the reworks to the werewolfs design, I went back to modelling her head. I'm still using the original orthographs because thy're close enough to how her new head look that I can still use them as guidelines. After getting the eye to look right, I moved on to the muzzle. I formed the top of her head and her cheek first so that the muzzle would flow into the shapes of the forehead and cheek. For her nose, at first I tried to have just the general shape and paint the nostrils on, but I realised for the animation I'd need actual geometry to animate some of her expressions, so I modelled it fully.  I found the nose extremely difficult to model, especially figuring out how the mesh should flow from the inside of the nostril back out and into the lip.
